'Lappu sa Sachin': Seema Haider to take legal action against neighbour
Seema Haider is all set to take legal action against the neighbour who called Sachin 'lappu' and 'jhingur'.
Days after a video of Seema Haider’s neighbour, Mithilesh Bhati, calling her Sachin 'lappu' and 'jhingur' went viral on social media, Haider’s lawyer warned the neighbour of defamation case.
Seema’s lawyer, AP Singh, stated that Mithilesh Bhati would receive a response from every husband in the country for her “disrespectful” comments about Sachin.
Mithilesh Bhati referred to Sachin as "jhingur sa" and "lappu sa" in media interviews. Following these interviews, Mithilesh became the talk of the town overnight and gained traction on social media. Now, AP Singh is preparing to take legal action against Mithilesh Bhati for these remarks.
AP Singh emphasised that this remark is an insult to every husband. “In a diverse country like ours, insults based on skin colour and physical attributes will not be tolerated. We are planning to take legal action against the woman,” the lawyer said.
Mithilesh Bhati also responded to this, saying she did not insult anyone.
“I got angry, and those words slipped from my mouth. Such language is commonly used here in our colloquial conversations. People call me ‘lappi’ but that doesn’t mean I will become ‘lappi’. I have not insulted anyone,” she said.
THE SEEMA HAIDER STORY
A Pakistani woman named Seema Haider has been in the headlines since July 2023 after she crossed the border to unite with her Indian lover Sachin Meena. Their love story began in 2019 when she met Sachin, a resident of Greater Noida, while playing the online game PUBG.
Seema left her home country and travelled to India illegally. She was already married and is a mother of four.
Meanwhile, a video of Sachin’s neighbour went viral on the internet. In the short clip, the woman rebuked the couple, claiming that there was nothing extraordinary about Sachin because Seema had to cross the border.
During her rant, wherein she used the phrase “lappu sa Sachin”, has now been converted into a track by Yashraj Mukhate. The peppy track, composed by Yashraj Mukhate, has gone viral within an hour of being made available online.
